Why We Chose Maine Coons
The cats I grew up with weren’t anything close to a pedigree,
just run of the mill “barn” type cats. When a home was needed
for a stray, abandoned or unwanted cat or kitten, they just
seemed to make their way over to my place and when
people came to visit, a cat or two would often go home with
them. It was a great experience to witness so many cats and kittens finding new homes.
When my 12 year old family German Sheppard passed away, I longed for indoor pet and researched different pedigreed cats because I wanted a one that stood out. A friend told me about
the Maine Coons, which was very popular and large breed, which really caught my attention. I began studying them by reading and attending cat shows to see for myself. I was truly impressed.
My first two were sisters and they wasted no time fetching for me and were very lovable. I remember them staring at the freezer
and the toilet, thinking it was odd, but I figured out that they were not staring, but were looking to see where the sound of running water was coming from, displaying intellectual curiosity. Given
half a chance, they would jump into the shower with me, make
little piles of things and store their toys in their water dishes. I became a Maine Coon Junkie and it was only a matter of time before I wanted Maine Coon Kittens.
Now I raise them and like before, I get the enjoyment of watching little Maine Coon kittens grow from birth into frisky, cuddly loveable little bunches of joy. After finding new families for them, I get to do it all over again.
Maine Coons will never stop finding new ways to amaze us.
Mmmmmm. Now those snacks were whisker lick'n good. When's dinner?

"We noticed Angel at your
site and brought her home
and we couldn't be happier as
she displays the same characteristics and qualities that we adore with the breed. She has such a personality at such a young age, beautiful, playful, cuddly, loving, demanding, and gracious all wrapped into furry package. Thank you for such a wonderful companion!"
