Coonberries Adoption Process

Our Maine Coons are primarily sold as pets and our adoption process is simple. We ask that you first browse through our available cats and kittens to see if any grab your attention.

Next, fill out our contact form on the Contact Us page so that you can tell us about what type of kitty you are looking for or ask about specific individuals. Don't worry if you didn't see a kitty that grabbed your attention because not all of our kitty's are listed, so don't hesitate to ask.

If we do have a kitty that you are interested in seeing, we ask that you schedule time with us for your visit and we will introduce you to your family of Maine Coons, the individual that you are interested in, and if available, the parents of the kitty that you've chosen. It's rare that people are able to meet the parents of their kitty, and when you are, it adds to that special bond that you will have with the furry member of your family.

Once you are ready to adopt one of our Maine Coons, we will ask you to fill out our Sales Contract on adoption day. You can view a sample of our Sales Contract.

We do advise you to kitten proof your home before introducing your new kitty to it. There are many hidden dangers in the average home and we strongly encourage you to review our Kitten Proofing Your Home infomation prior to adoption day.

On adoption day, we encourage you to bring a camera to remember the moment.
